KDK Associates is an independent rep firm founded in 1974 and based in Kailua, Hawaii. KDK Associates was founded by K. Daniel Kelly in 1974 and partnered with Moses Murakami in 2014. In 2019, Moses Murakami became sole principal.
The mission and priority of KDK Associates is to provide exceptional value-added service to its dealer network and their customers in the contract furnishing industry. KDK Associates represents some of the finest manufacturers in the industry and coverage includes Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. Our markets include, but are not limited to commercial, healthcare, education and government.
Moses Murakami has been in the contract furnishing industry since 1996. Moses first started in dealer sales/space planning with major manufacturers: Haworth, Allsteel, Herman Miller and Steelcase. In 2014, Moses transitioned to being a manufacturers rep and has established himself in the Hawaii market.
Moses is an avid surfer, active in his local church and community and a past board member of IIDA Hawaii. He lives in Kailua with his wife Marcia.
